What this desk will and will not do.
Figures below were read from public Solana mainnet accounts on 7 Nov 2026. The longer source note lives in ARCHITECTURE.md in the repo. This page is the product version of that note.
Program
Launches of this shape use Raydium LaunchLab, program LanMV9sAd7wArD4vJFi2qDdfnVhFxYSUg6eADduJ3uj. A pool binds one GlobalConfig. That account fixes the quote mint, the curve type, the trade fee, and the floors on supply, sell, lock, migration, and raise. Initialize no longer creates pools. New pools use InitializeV2, or InitializeWithToken2022 when the base mint needs that standard.
Graduation to a CPMM pool is signed by the migration wallet stored on the GlobalConfig, not by the creator. Reusing an existing config means inheriting that wallet, the fee, and the floors. It does not make the launch belong to whoever first popularized the config.

Every listed config is constant-product, curve type 0, index 0, with a protocol trade fee of 0.25% (rate 2500 / 1,000,000) and a migration fee of 0. Three hundred ninety-nine configs use a loose floor: minimum raise of 1 raw unit, sell floor of 0.0001%, migration floor of 15%, lock ceiling of 99.9999%. SOL's config requires at least 24 SOL and a 20% sell floor. USD1's config requires at least 5,000 USD1. Those two also cap the referral share fee at 100 bps. The other configs store a share-fee cap of 0.
Candidate names came from a public frontend bundle at floatlaunch.xyz, retrieved 7 Nov 2026. Prices and images in that bundle were discarded. Mint decimals, token programs, and config fields were then read from api.mainnet-beta.solana.com. The 24 xStock symbols also matched metadata at xstocks-metadata.backed.fi. Afloat is not affiliated with those publishers.
Opening FDV versus real quote
For the constant-product initializer in Raydium SDK v2, virtual base and virtual quote are integers derived from supply, the sold amount, the locked amount, the raise, and the migration fee. Opening implied FDV, in raw quote units, is virtual quote times supply divided by virtual base. At the first moment of the curve the real quote balance is zero. The raise target is what traders would have to deposit to graduate.
On a 1,000,000,000 supply with 6 decimals, an 80% sale and a 20% migration, a raise of 64,000 quote tokens implies an opening FDV of about 20,000 quote tokens. That is quote units, not dollars. A dollar target uses a fresh Jupiter price print and the current cluster slot. A missing or stale print does not fall back to $1, and the desk does not display $20,000 in that case. The opening figure is virtual FDV. Circulating market cap and the real quote balance are both zero until the first buy, and that buy moves the price.
One quote
Custom baskets are not part of Afloat. A launch has one quote mint. The six index mints already in the catalog are single assets. Choosing one does not compose a basket, and Afloat has not verified what those indexes hold. Old basket links open the quote catalog.
If the quote is not wrapped SOL, a buyer paying in SOL would need a swap into that quote first. That swap is not built. The desk does not treat a SOL payment as a stock, ETF, commodity, or index pair.
Platform sale policy
The creator sets total supply, the quote, and the curve-fee recipient. The sold share, lock, and migration share are not creator knobs. The candidate is an 80% sale and a 0% lock, and a config whose floors cannot accept that split moves the sale or blocks the quote. Cliff and unlock stay at zero while the lock is zero.
Critical path
Chain preflight re-reads the selected mint and its GlobalConfig. The unsigned InitializeV2 payload uses that mint as the quote. It is not signed. Afloat still has no PlatformConfig. Creating one needs the admin key on the Mac and explicit fee, CPMM, LP, and URL choices. This desk does not invent those.
Creator fees
The proposed curve cap is 2% of quote-token volume: 1.25% platform (12,500), 0.5% creator (5,000), plus the selected config's protocol fee. On the current catalog that protocol fee is 0.25%, so the total is exactly 2%. A higher protocol fee is rejected. Creators earn the 0.5% before graduation. The payer and the creator can be different keys, and the fee is the quote token even when the quote is not SOL. After graduation the proposal uses CPMM config 16, a 1.5% trader fee (0.005% trade plus 1.495% creator), 100% LP burn, and an unset platform_cp_creator so the per-launch creator inherits that creator fee. InitializeV2 records amm_fee_on as quote-token only. This split is proposed, not confirmed, and the platform account does not exist. Website, image, fee wallet, and a funded admin setup are still unset. A proposed admin public key, 44idkdGwiPAJno5JAC4K4aXaaSthU2hd2PJBoerEqJwa, is noted for that later setup.
What stays blocked
- The sign-and-send path stays closed while platform policy is unconfirmed. No platform account, mint, or pool has been created.
- The 2% curve split and config 16 are proposed numbers. Website, image, fee wallet, and a funded admin setup are still unset.
- No custody, no token issuance, and no claim that a holder owns the underlying stock or bitcoin.
- Wrapped assets such as WBTC and cbBTC are issuer representations, not native BTC.
- Tokenized equities, ETFs, commodities, and pre-IPO trackers carry issuer eligibility and transfer rules. This desk does not review offering documents and does not describe them as permissionless shares.
